EXORBITANT excessive amount, or the lack thereof in comparison to the cost paid by the average consumer.
The people could not give to their father and brother because of the exorbitant spending habits that they have practiced in order to fit into a worldly society.

When your boss corrects you during a meeting that you are making up words or pronouncing something improperly Usually followed by ridicule or teasing that you meant to say exorbitant.
I cannot believe these exorbiant requirments we are having to go through to get the business. What I can't believe is that Damiani just makes up words.
