Egohacker

Noun ˈē-gō ˌhak-ər

A self-proclaimed intellectual who believes they’ve unlocked the secrets of the universe through a self-invented psychological framework called “Egohacking.” Egohackers deliver their half-baked theories with unwarranted confidence, refusing to test their ideas against credible sources or engage in practical, real-world activities (like “touching grass”).

Characteristics:

• Practically lives on Discord, treating it as both their stage and their sanctuary.
• Views owning a car as either an unnecessary societal construct or a sign of selling out, often masking their inability to afford one as moral superiority.
• Male Egohacker: Brags about juggling (or planning to juggle) three girlfriends, despite being unemployed or stuck in a minimum-wage job.
• Female Egohacker: Typically involved with one of these men, adopting his ideas as her own and often hesitating to express independent thoughts without his approval.
“My mom told me to get off Discord and get a job, but I told her she doesn’t understand because I’m a certified Egohacker. Anyway, one of my international girlfriends is visiting next month, so clearly, I’m doing just fine.”
