Typical Urbandictionary Definition

When someone, most likely a prepubescent 13 year old, writes a sex definition for something which has nothing to do with the word you looked up.

Theoretical example - I look up forum troll, because i've seen it used extensively on forums, and never understood what it meant. One of the definitions will most likely be something like this -

"While ur fucking ur girl from behind in teh dark, u put a dildo instead of ur dick in her hole, u then grab a cardboard box full of troll dolls and begin throwing them at her, all the while yelling ATTACK OF TEH FORUM TROLLS!!!"

A typical urbandictionary definition deserves deletion, it contributes nothing to the viewer's knowledge, and only serves to prove how idiotic the poster is.

see roflcopter I think its about the 6th definition down. That is a prime example of a typical urbandictionary definition.

Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period

The period of time from the point of submission of an Urban Dictionary definition until the point when the submission is either approved for publication or the definition is rejected and not published. The Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period can take from minutes to hours or it can take up to several weeks end. There is no explaination for the time variance nor is there a way to determine what the actual definition gestation period will be.

The gestation period for the birth of a human being is far more predictable and accurate than the Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period.

Carlos spends his free time creating Urban Dictionary entries because he has a creative mind and enjoys sharing his world. While he is an Urban Dictionary submission pro, he has yet to figure out why the Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period is so unpredictable and takes up to several weeks on end for editorial review.

Your definition will be reviewed soon.

when you submit a definition , a message will show saying "Your definition will be reviewed soon." - and by soon they mean about at least 2 weeks

Your definition will be reviewed soon. -"this definition was probably created 3 weeks before it was posted and reviewed here "

Definite Maybe

The time honored 'Definite Maybe' is used when RSVP'ing to parties and events. It has all the confidence and decision of 'Definite' coupled with the flakiness and ability to back out of a 'Maybe'. RSVPs: Going, Not Going, Definite Maybe.

Your friends know you'll show up to the shindig, you just want them to beg you to come so you feel wanted. You were planning on going the whole time, but that's not how you operate. No, not you. The surprise party started at 8pm, but you know better and show up at 10pm and surprise THEM with your presence. Now that's thinking ahead.

You're the life of the party... whether you're there or you're not. You're a Definite Maybe.

Rhett is a Definite Maybe for the party tonight. I definitely know he'll maybe be here. Classic Rhett.

Dude, don't make me beg. I know you want to go to the party, stop being such a Definite Maybe.

He didn't even show up for his own surprise party. A Definite Maybe through and through. What a legend.
