On a perfect day, in a perfect neighbourhood, in a perfect house, a seemingly perfect, Mary Alice Young killed herself. Mary Alice had five neigbours, five good-looking women who's lives aren't that perfect either. There's clumsy Susan, Martha Stewart from Stepford- Bree, model Gabrielle, mother of four Lynette and predatory divorcee Edie Britt.
It's not Sex and the City, it's not Friends, BUT ITS THE BEST DRAMA/COMEDY EVER!!!

I LOVE THIS SHOW!

Desperate Housewives

Possibly one of the best shows on television. Ever.
The show follows four housewives living on the seemingly perfect Wisteria Lane. The women all deal with dramatic issues; such as suicide, affairs, and troublesome teens. Susan Mayer is a hopeless romantic trying to find a man (currently her plumber). Bree Van De Kamp is "Martha Stewart on steroids", who recently witnessed her boyfriend's suicide. He was also the same man who killed her husband, Rex. Then, there is the ever popular and sexy Gabrielle Solis, played by Eva Longoria. Her character has an elicit affair with a teenage garden, the becomes pregnant -> miscarriage. Last but not least is Lynette Scavo, a working mother of four. All her character does is deal with parenting and marriage issues..

desperate housewives

A phenomenon of a show.
It revolves around a group of female housewives.
Susan, being one of them, is a divorced single mother who is in love with her plumber. Susan later finds out the plumber is a murderer, but accepts that he did it in self-defense.
Lynette, being the most boring character in the show, is a housewive with 3 or 4 kids that she can't control.
Bree is another housewive. She and her husband are fighting lots and stuff, but they get over it, but then her husband dies. Boohoo.
Gabriel Solis, who is without a doubt one of the most sexiest womanses I've ever seen, is an adulterinator. She cheats on her husband with her gardener, and may have gotten pregnant from him.
Edie Britt is probably the ugliest of the group, next to Bree, but is all pop-uh-ler because she's got large fake breasts. Oh, and she's the whore of the town.
These are only some of the characters from this awesome show, which gets better with each coming episode.

Hell, I'm 12 and I love it.
