A DDoS caused by the unusually high, and often unexpected, level of traffic when a page on the host is linked to from popular social bookmarking site Digg.

Digg.com User abc123 posted a link to iamrichlist.com.
after reaching the front page of digg, the traffic from all of digg's users overwhelmed the server and/or the server's connection, and it was DoS'ed

Its when some one attacks a specific IP Address in many cases sending a lot of large packets at once so that the IP Address can not handle all the incoming requests and crashes.

Cheaters on halo 3 use this technique to Host Boot or Standby people.

Often used by freedom fighters on the Internet, usually attacking the systems of greedy corporations who want to sacrifice YOUR freedom for their profits.
