An awesome dude who can be a friend for life. If a friend pisses him off, he usually forgives them. If he gets a girlfriend, she will be treated like a queen and loved forever. He will tell his closest friends or those who he has befriended his secrets and is hysterical. Word of warning though, Cross has been betrayed, back-stabbed, broken up with, cheated on, or bullied before so he feels vulnerable. This explains why he is sometimes shy with those who he doesn't know or even with his friends. He is smart, awesome, and funny. If a girl gets him, she better not cheat on him, hurt his feelings, or break up with him and see if she can get back together with him because he has already been hurt and will not risk being hurt again.
Girl 1: who is your boyfriend?
Girl 2: oh you mean Cross? We just broke up
Girl 1: What the hell is wrong with you!
Girl 2: what do you mean? I was only kidding. I plan to get back together with him.
Girl 1: I doubt he will forgive you for that.
Girl 2: Oh please, I bet he's gonna come up and beg for me to get back with him. See? There he comes now.
*Cross walks up*
Cross: What? You think that is funny?bWhat the hell is wrong with you. I wasn't coming to beg. I was coming up to say I don't want to get back together with you!
*Cross walks off*
Girl 2: what just happened?
Girl 1: you screwed up.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
