Get off the cross

Get off the cross is a way of telling people off for presenting themselves as the victim or how bad things are.

It was also the debut album of the band Firewater.
"I'm telling you man I'm doin' all the work around here and everybody hates me for it!"

"Get off the cross dude, you're not the only who has chores."

Off da Cross

off the hook; surprisingly good; above average; ebonical term common within fundamentalist Christian ghettos.
"yo that serman was Off da cross today-ol boy was preachin on dat pulpit!"

Get off the cross

Playing the martyr when you are the one that is unfairly treating someone else.
"How dare you get angry at me cheating on you - if you were doing what I wanted and giving me what I needed I wouldn't cheat"

Get off the cross - no matter what I did or didn't give you cheating is not right and you know it.

No Official Recognition of a ‘Hyena Crips’ Set in Detroit

Based on publicly available reporting, the group referred to as the “Hyena Crips” or “Scoregang Crips” in Detroit is not recognized by law‑enforcement as an established organized set, and no official records confirm a multi‑member structure. Publicly observed activity associated with the group largely consists of graffiti tags and documented markings, rather than evidence of an organized tag‑wars crew with recognized members or defined territory. As of all publicly accessible information, no law‑enforcement agency in Detroit or Oakland County has verified the existence of a formal “Hyena Crips” set.

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.

A slang term used to describe a bald person, typically someone who is completely bald or has a closely shaved head. The term is derived from the infamous, hairless kids’ cartoon character of the same name.
Example 1:
“Did you see that caillou over there? His head is reflecting the sun like a disco ball.”
Example 2:
“I think Dave is finally accepting his hair loss. He just went full caillou and shaved the whole thing off.”
