NeC^C^laC^es worn by C^rip gangmenbers in a variety of styles and formations. The most common knows ways are the styles with all 6lue ceeds and white and blue ceeds. Crates can often hint another crips set. Suc as the style with 8 6lue ceeds and 3 white ceeds and vice versa means that Crip is an 8Tr3y Crip.

I was walking down the blocc today when i saw this LoC^ with his crates on and he saw mine too so we peaced eachother.


Man1: I saw an 8Tr3y Crip today. Man2: How do you know? Man1: The crates he had on went in the order of 8 6lue and 3 white.

Crates - adj.- A descriptive word used to imply great amounts of eloquence, grandeur in regards to speech or thought, or acuteness when speaking of something. The derivation of this word is originally to be used as in the terms of Socrates, of, "so crates" pronounced as one would if talking of a crate.

veal crates

Several tiny cubicles crammed into one office as desks for graduate students. Like calves being fattened for slaughter, graduate students confined to veal crates can experience chronic stress so extreme as to require medication. Veal-crated students frequently drop our of graduate school after paying tuition for several years, thus helping to ensure that the university's coffers are filled while gaining nothing from the graduate experience but horrible memories and a few useless ideas.

Graduate Student: THIS is my office!!!?? I can't believe it; I'm a PhD student and this is supposed to be a great university. These cubicles are only four feet wide. I'll go insane.

Diggin' in the Crates

Also abreviated D.I.T.C. it is a term used to describe when DJ's or producers skim through record shops to find rare vinyls to create a break to incorporate in their music. The records are usually kept in milk crates so that is where the crates aspect comes from. This is also a group formed by Fat Joe, along with Showbiz and A.G., Big L (RIP), Buckwild, Diamond D, Lord Finesse, and O.C.
