A person who loves movies and has an extensive knowledge of them. For them, a movie is more than just a recreation; it's an escape from reality, a time for all problems to slip away for two hours (depending on how long the movie is, as some extend to 3+ hours).
Aside from knowing various movies, a cinephile can also recognize an actors voice even if they change it; like in animation or if the actor/actress uses an accent(real or fake). They can also quote and, or act out entire scenes from movies, almost to the tee.
