This condition exists as a lasting soreness in the thumbs causes from an excessive amount of cell phone texting.

The kid next to me on the cross country bus trip was texting non stop for 7 hour; surely he has carpal thumbal syndrome by now.

Carpal Thumbel Syndrome 

A syndrome where the thumbs can't be used to text on a smartphone due to over texting.

Unlike carpal tunnel, where the problems occur due to a median nerve in the wrist, Carpal Thumbel is due to a nerve pinching in the hand.
"Kara, why can't you type a text?"

"I can't move my thumbs! I have tingling, numbness, weakness, and pain in my thumbs! Could it be Carpal Tunnel!?"

"No. What you suffer from is Carpal Thumbel Syndrome."

Carpal Thumbel 

A condition resulting from excessive text messaging or use of a PDA keyboard. Symptoms range from stiffness to a complete inability to bend your thumb(s). Long term effects may include hitchhiking paralysis.
Mom, I can’t take out the trash because my Carpal Thumbel is acting up again.

This is what the Wireless Blackberry users will get if they type too much on their blackberry. Disease of the thumbs and median nerve around the thumbs similar to that of Carpal Tunnel.

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.
