You can never win against a smiling man

A stance one takes in an argument to smile, remain calm, collected and to focus on the argument's topic at hand without referring to falling back on snide remarks or insults of the opposing side.
During an argument, you sit back with a smile, keeping your cool and staying confident, picking your words carefully, even admitting defeat at certain points if the other is right.

Most of the time, the opposition will be backed into a corner after being at a loss for words for you being completely correct and unless they are a competitive person who refuses to admit defeat or that they are wrong (which most people are), then they will resort to other means of winning the argument, in which case they have lost regardless.

YOU CAN NEVER FIGHT A GHOST

Ghost: something is over and done with; a past that can't be changed; the invisible enemy or something that you can't get a grasp or see; something more spiritual than physical.

YOU CAN NEVER FIGHT A GHOST means:
1.If something is over and done with, you can't keep on fighting it, because it is over. If someone has died, it would be futile for their loved ones to try to keep them alive (which is obviously impossible).
2. You can't fight or overcome an invisible enemy or something that you can't get a grasp on (because ghosts are transparent).
3.You can never fight something that you can't see. Marry a Widow...you'll find that her late husband was a saint...no matter what she said while he was alive.
4.You can't change the past.
5.You cannot fight against someone or something that is more spiritual than physical...for example, you can't defeat a martyr
6. You can't change the past, what mistakes were made, etc just learn from them and try not to make the same ones again
It's over, man. You can never fight a ghost!

canniversary

The yearly celebration of a person's first time trying or enjoying cannabis in some form. Sometimes celebrated by sharing one's cannabis or paraphernalia with members of their smoking community (reddit.com/trees, for example). Can also be celebrated with cannabis-infused space cake with candles.

Also, just another reason to get together with your stoner friends and get baked. Not to be confused with 4/20, the annual holiday that celebrates pot culture in general.
Miles invites his stoner circle over to his house every year at 4:20 on July 5th to celebrate his canniversary with them. They usually bring him gifts of rolling papers, a dub sack, and next year, they're going to Amsterdam for his canniversary!
