This individual often overcompensates in their attempt to be seen as tough or streetwise, but to the discerning eye, they simply don’t embody the true characteristics of a gangster. While they may think of themselves as intimidating or commanding respect, others tend to view them as trying too hard, earning them the moniker “Cangster” — a gangster in effort, but not in essence.
