Ballam

Also known as The Focused Time, Ballam is the span of time from Krampus (December 5th) to Luna Flame (first full moon of July) when followers of the Korrui religion ages 13 to 21 (of any and all genders) cover their hair (usually with a Büf or a Hüddi) around members of the gender that they are attracted to.

Girl: why do you always wear that hat around me?
Straight guy: It's currently Ballam.

Fam Ballam

Originally used ironically, in context of being both sardonic use of "fam" combined with a pun based on the hit song "Black Betty" originally written by Ram Jam or more commonly known as performed by Spiderbait, has become a frequently used longer alternative to the more common "fam".

Users of this term often find themselves spontaneously breaking out into song, continuing to recite the lyrics of "Black Betty".

Person 1 bumps into Person 2

Person 1: Oh shit, sorry bro
Person 2: It's allg fam ballam, whoa black betty!

Balamer

n. In Baltimoron, this is the "home city" of Baltimore. While this is the usual spelling for the word, a more correctly phonetic spelling would be "Bawlamer." (Those of you in the Mid-West might pronounce the first "a" as a short a, and that would be incorrect.) Baltimore is frequently shortened further to "Balmer."
