A school-yard term used in games of chasey to indicate that you can't get "it" or to call a truce. Beyond the age of 12, used to communicate a desire to not get involved or answer a difficult question.
Folklorists and other researchers have noted the use of the term and its variants in various parts of Australia, particularly, it seems, in Western Australia.
However, in Western Australiaone sometimes hears the term – usually as ‘barleese’ – in the conversation of adults. In these contexts, ‘barleese’ may be used to indicate that the speaker has ‘had enough’ of something, usually something that they consider to be excessive, irritating or otherwise unpleasant. Another use for the term is to indicate that the speaker considers something to be too difficult to contemplate or to carry out.

A person I once saw on TikTok that wants to be a famous streamer that plays Minecraft all day and I honestly fell in love with his voice and he sounded so kind
When someone says 'balee dat' they are either trying to convey their agreement with someone or trying to let you know that they intend to do something whether you like it or not. In my experience, fangbangers say this a lot.
A beautiful girl with and even better personality, she has a fantastic taste in music and always looks amazing in whatever she wears. One part of her charm is that she doesn't realize how perfect she is which can also be frustrating. Once she makes up her mind nothing can change it, she is incredibly determined.
