When you go on to a phone or electronic device for a particular reason and get distracted by other apps, thereby forgetting or neglecting to complete original intention.

I went on my phone specifically to check my bank account balance, but I got "appstracted" by a notification and chose to open social media first. After 20 m

a notification persuaded me to open my social media app first. Then I remembered to log in

after opening social media apps first, then logging in my last meal, I was "appstracted" and forgot to even open my bank's app.
