The antithesis of Teetotalism; the embrace of alcohol as a life-enriching and enjoyable substance and presence in everyday life. Plays on the words alcoholic and holistic.

Alcoholist 

Much different than an Alcoholic. Alcoholists do not have a dependency on alcohol. They merely enjoy drinking large amounts of alcohol to reach that "happy place", which usually means blacking out and trying to figure out what the hell happened last night.
Dude I'm not alcoholic. I'm an alcoholist.

All alcoholists have a a flask full of Jägermeister and red bull to have an instant Jäger bomb.

Alcoholimic 

A person (usually a girl) who makes themselves throw up after a night of drinking in the hopes that they reduce their hangover.
Where did Laura go?

She went to go make herself throw up.

She's a total alcoholimic.

Alcoholist 

An expert at alcohol. Like a specialist~ a professional. Someone who is a specialist at alcohol. Unlike the term "alcoholic", which has a negative connotation, an "alcoholist" is someone who is a specialist at alcohol. They are unlikely to be a drunk, but more akin to a connoisseur of alcohol. This is a compliment, and a term of respect and camaraderie.

Literally 1984 

Used in response for when someone promotes/advocates an event or idea that is perceived to support "too much" authority and/or government control.

Often used jokingly as a over-exaggeration in political talk.

Can also be used in response to a ban or mute in a forum site or online chat.

We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
