A 21st century philosophy that attempts to meld science with spirituality.
Central premise of Q/A: We live our lives over and over again in exactly the same way in the time-space matrix alloted to us. Birth and death are "bookends", predetermined by a higher power, and prop up the free-will "books" of our conscious reality (actions, memories and dreams) between.

political agnostic
One who is a registered voter and politically informed, but is basically indifferent and non-committal toward the popular political parties (Democrat or Republican in the US). Probably believes that the political parties are so ideologically similar and so mired in their own bureaucracy that they have outlived their usefulness. Voting straight-ticket out of allegiance to a political party would be considered heresy.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
