steal a mirror

First used in Kurt Vonnegut's book, Breakfast of Champions, this phrase means roughly, "to take a leak."

"Sometimes somebody would say in his presence, 'Excuse me, I have to take a leak.' This was a way of saying that the speaker intended to drain liquid wastes from his body through a valve in his lower abdomen.

And Trout would reply waggishly, 'Where I come from, that means you're about to steal a mirror.'"
Guys, I'll be back in a second. I've gotta go steal a mirror.

you wouldn't steal a car

An idiotic PSA comparing pirating a 1 GB movie file and stealing a full blown $50k+ 2 ton vehicle. The phrase was a part of an anti-piracy campaign called "Piracy, It's a Crime" created by Motion Picture Association. The PSA paints piracy as a bad thing even though it helps people living in 3rd world countries, aids developers test out software, and opens artists up to a whole new world of software.

"You wouldn't download a car" is a common variant of the phrase, originally created by Reddit user augreeko on /r/funny.
you wouldn't steal a car
you wouldn’t steal a handbag
you wouldn’t steal a television
you wouldn’t steal a movie

Downloading pirated films is stealing,
stealing is against the law,
PIRACY. IT’S A CRIME.

Steal-a-Meal

Whereby people bring large ziploc bags to Buffets (examples: weddings, corporate events, complimentary hotel brunches, casinos) or Buffet Restaurants for the sole purpose of stuffing excess food into the bags and 'stealing' it. This is usually accomplished by overloading one's plate at the Buffet and then surreptitiously tipping the contents of the plate into the ziploc bag. The ziploc bags are usually concealed in: ladies' handbags, men's briefbags, empty laptop cases, overcoats, children's strollers etc.
So what are we going to hit off the buffet tonite?

I spy U-Peel Shrimp. Cream Cheese Bagels with Lox. Vienna Sausages. Mini Quiches. Brownie Bites.

Did you remember to bring the Steal-a-Meal Bags?

Never leave home without 'em!

murderhobo

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.
DM: The sad little orphan girl tugs at Steve's trenchcoat to get his attention, and ask for help saving her pet dog from...

Dave: I call dibs on the dog.

In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.

Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.

A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.
"Shit...the sales director chewed me out on the sales call this morning. He's totally pissed that I have nothing in my pipeline. I've been focused on this one whale for so long that I haven't had time to prospect for normal-sized deals."
