200Xs

Or the 0Xs, is the decade that begins in the year 2000 and ends in the year 2009. The zero refers to the decade and the X refers to an unknown or generalized number or year between 0 and 9.
This term is Used as one way to avoid confusion with the 2000s (Two-Thousands or 2XXXs) which describes the period between 2000 and 2999; and the Twenty-Hundreds (or 20XXs), which describe the period between 2000 and 2099.

The 200Xs will probably be remembered for the musical genres of Crunk and Emo the way the 90s were remembered for Grunge and (the sort of techno music played at) RAVEs; the 80s for New Wave, Hair Bands, and Old School Hip Hop; the 70s for disco and the 60s for Psychadellic.

An EDM genre that involves constant 200BPM, genre switches, and sudden beat drops. The first 200step song was created by Camellia in his album "Summary & VIPs 02". The genre gained notoriety after BeastTrollMC played an osu! map featuring a 200step remix of "Exit This Earth's Atomosphere".

The good ol’ days now. 2000-2009. Some people still lump in the 2000s with the 2010s which is really annoying. No, Party Rock Anthem did not come out in the 2000s!! The early 2010s are not the 2000s. Donald Trump was just some rich TV personality, “fake news” wasn’t in people’s daily vocabulary, a snowflake was a thing that fell from the sky, and Facebook was only a site to connect with friends and nothing more. A child that had at least half of his childhood in the 2000s. Generally, these kids are in 8th grade or above right now, and they grew up with a PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, Wii, DS, or PSP. They also remember old YouTube and all the songs like 009 Sound System.

If they can live without their phones, they are a 2000s kid.

The era before everything else that was the peak of humanity. Even though it was covered in toxic people and somewhat lazy and creepy media, it was way more creative than these newer decades.
