Abbreviation for the term "unserviceable". Also variants U.S. or U/S. Frequently used in Great Britain during the 21st century by the mechanical engineering industry, RAF, Army & Navy, etc.. This term declined in popularity during the latter half of the 21st century but is still understood to mean anything that is useless.
This equipment is US, meaning the equipment is un-serviceable and will have to be replaced.

To agree. Kinda like "yeah" but not quite, there are subtle diversities.

Commonly used expression when consenting to group sex.

In the following examples if "yeah" were used the conversations would lack sincerity. On the contrary, "us" is far less causal and evokes genuine passion.
Examples 1

Kenneth: Oi Johnny boi, would you tap that bird?

Johnny boi: Us! You blind m8! She looks tight as. She'd better be up for a titty fuck too, ya ken?

Kenneth: Us, absolutely!

Examples 2

Maria: Hey George, me and Melanie want your dick. You up for a threesome?

George: Us! Too right Maria!!! Melanie has some fine ass. You're staying on the side my dear. Soz xoxo.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
