Loyal, caring, creative. Always the best listener she will always give you sound advice, but has often been guilty of not taking her own good advice. Not quick to trust or open up to new people, but once she let's you into her heart, you will always have a place there provided you don't screw it up. Loves to laugh even though stress rules her life. She loves to love and be loved in return. She always tries to be nice, but you will find yourself out of her good graces if you just assume her name is spelled "Laurie" or some other variation.

Like the laurel leaves for which she is named, she leaves an impression like a sweet aroma which causes others to rejoice to have her around. She is like a crown of victory because of the encouragement and love she quickly and easily bestows on others. If you on the off chance know a Lori, you should consider yourself the luckiest person alive. time will tell just how perfect Lori is. Honestly she seems like a dream, a dream that couldn't possibly be true. Sure enough though Lori's gotta be there sitting all perfect and angelic and looking by far prettier than anyone, ever, at all. Basically if you know a Lori be thankful that god blessed you with the opportunity to be her friend or maybe more, if you ever become more with a Lori Zeus will bow down before you because there is no way you couldn't date a Lori without being a god.

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
