carbonara

The greatest pasta dish to come out of Italy.

Basically pork(guanciale,pancetta or bacon),egg yolks,cheese(parmesan or pecorino)heavy cream(optional)and spaghetti.
One can also use onions,mushrooms,peas and garlic.

Served with black pepper or basil.

In a authentic Carbonara you use Pecorino cheese and Guanciale(unsmoked bacon)

Its hard making the Carbonara perfect because the egg yolks have a tendency to overcook.

carlson douchebag

Very common phrase at the University of Minnesota. Refers to anyone studying at the Carlson School of Management. On campus, Douchebag and Carlson are basically synonymous. It is presumed that every Carlson student is a douchebag, so the few who are not must be identified specifically as "not a douchebag" by someone in CLA to be accepted by anyone cool on campus.

CLA Girl: "Hey what's your major?"
Carlson Douchebag: "International Supplier Relations and Human Resources Management"
CLA Girl: "Oh... I have to go..."

CLA Girl: "I met a cute guy, but turns out he goes to Carlson"
CLA Guy: "Douchebag."

Carbon Proton Synthesiser

More commonly referred to as a CPS, this ingenious contraption imprints a smiley face on the protons of a carbon atom using a high-powered laser. (see Hydro-lithium-demerol-amal-nitrate uranium scrupulator)
Once the protons have been imprinted, one droplet of the atoms produces enough energy to power New York for 3 days.

Damn, we're running out of energy, if only we had 1 droplet of Carbon atoms that had been Synthesised by a CPS.
