A term used to describe fans and/or alumni of Auburn University. The term originated, in part, from the fact that Auburn University is located in a more rural area of Alabama and has a large Department of Agriculture. Additionally, former University of Alabama head football coach Paul "Bear" Bryant referred to Auburn as a "cow college." Since Bryant is a god of sorts to most Alabama Crimson Tide football fans, this solidified the term. It is important to note that this term is most often used by Alabama football fans who couldn't tell you anything about the school unless it is football-related.
I was gonna take that minimum wage job in the city, but when I found out the company's owned by a stinking barner, I decided to just stay on unemployment.

Get the barner mug.A town where most kids start drinking and smoking at the age of 10-11. the "cool" thing to do is come home from school rush out to the skatepark thats right smack in the middle of the town, on friday & saturday night you can find our whole high school at half off applebees. all of us have known each other since the age of 5 when we started elementary school. most girls are sluts and will give it up to pretty much anyone that wants it. the guys all they want are the trashy girls. our school system is supid and they give us school when all the other schools in our county dont. the only thing to do in this town is drink, most parents supply their kids with pot and beer every single weekend. this town is quite small but big, everything gets around in the matter of hours and everyone knows everyone elses life storys. two wawa less then five mins apart. there is nothing to do in this town, pretty much if you dont drive; you dont have a life.

Get the Barnegat mug.A small-town, provincial putz of a policeman. The name represents "Barney Fife", the bumbling, inept deputy sherfiff from the "Andy Griffith Show." The typical small-town Barney is a doughnut-chomping fat bastard whose only purpose is to write as many speeding tickets and seat belt "safety" violations to out-of-town licence plated cars as humanly possible. This daily pattern continues until the barney has padded his resume sufficiently to move on to a real job far from the provincial putzville which was his first job for a couple of years. The outrageous pattern of excessive ticket-writing also works in the favor of the inbred, corrupt, fuck-headed town officials who reap an obscene profit from the fine largesse. This, in turn, self justifies the continuance of the salary for the Barney. This pattern is particularly effective in towns which are so ridiculously quiet and small that an actual "law enforcement officer" has no substantive reason to be on the public payroll. The next time you are pulled over in some backward Hooterville for driving 4 MPH over the posted limit, remember where your fine money is going.
