A person who is attractive in non-traditional and unconventional ways. A hotness that defies the mainstream ideals and definitions of aesthetic “hotness”.

The people who fit this definition ironically would never use it to define themselves because it is their lack of interest in being “hot” that is a key feature of their hotness.

“That girl is no supermodel, but damn is she rocking the alternative hot.”

“You know that guy Jeff, he’s not what you’d call classically hot, but he’s definitely alternative hot.”
