The Jukebox Romantics

A Five Piece punk / ska outfit from South Westchester and Long Island. Formed in 2008, they gained quick notoriety amongst the local scene due to their busy schedule of near constant shows. This dedication and effort did not go unnoticed, after releasing their first full length Self Titled album they were signed by Altercation Records. Being signed to a label opened up even more opportunities for the JBRs, as several music videos, interviews in magazines such as AMP, and shows with big name acts like Madball, Murphy's Law and the Misfits started to follow. Their success continues to accelerate after having several notches on their proverbial belts come in the name of The Vans Warped Tour, The South By Southwest Festival, and The Fest in Gainesville, Florida. With a sophomoric album release expected in early Spring of 2011, The Jukebox Romantics are to put it simply, on their fucking way.

a hopeless romantic to me is a person who is in love with the idea of being in love. they just want someone to care for them and hold them and tell them everything will be okay. a hopeless romantic gets attached too easily. but, they are very sweet and sincere. they hate being heartbroken. They are genuinely they best boy/girlfriend you could have. never tell them you love them unless you mean it. but fit for today's unholy standards? no way. they also have jealousy. they are not actually hopeless.
