A slur given to a father or mother by a narcissistic abuser and their flying monkeys to deflect from the fact that they are using the family court system (a $50B US industry) to bleed the targeted parent dry (attorney fees, child support) and justify not allowing the targeted parent or their family to see the child(ren) that the targeted parent is currently paying child support for.

Chris is a prick, because he won't allow his daughter to see her mother; however, he calls her a deadbeat to anyone who will listen, because how else can he explain how he got remarried, but his child is not allowed to have any contact with her own mother?

Someone who gets made at their babymama and wants nothing to do with the kid. A punk ass bitch who needs to step up... then will get mad when their child calls another man "daddy".

Deadbeat Dad

A so called man who is always making promises of when they'll come spend time with their child but never shows up even though they live 15 minutes away. Always has lame excuses to why they Never spend time with their child And only gives the bare minimum amount of financial help. Even though they know they can do more but choose to Leave everything to the mother.

Mom: When are you gonna spend time with ur son?
Deadbeat Dad: Oh i will next week. Monday! I promise.
NEXT WEEK....
Mom: Hello you never showed up to get ur son.

Deadbeat Dad: I was hanging with my friends all night and im to tired. I'll get him next week.

........Never shows up, has new excuses.

Deadbeat Date

A date for prom/other social gathering that asks you to go with them and then disappears into obscurity and avoids contact with the person they asked until said event. The end result is a very awkward situation that makes the receiver of the date request wonder why they even said yes in the first place.

Dude 1: "Dude 2, who's Pam going to prom with?"

Dude 2: "Ummm, I have no idea Dude 1, I think its Chad"

Dude 1: "Oh yeahh, Chad asked her like two weeks ago but they haven't seemed to talk since..."

Dude 2: "That's mad awk man, hes such a Deadbeat date to her."
