military draft

The forced induction of a person into the armed forces. In the USA, this typically applies only to healthy young heterosexual males with low lottery numbers, non-exempt religions & poor political connections. Proponents of the draft cite advantages over a voluntary army: lower cost, ethnic diversity (but not gender), greater governmental reluctance to enter wars. These claims have yet to be documented however. Both Republicans & Democrats are split on this issue & will generally let public opinion guide them. Libertarians oppose the draft as mere time-share slavery, & lacking any of the claimed benefits.
The military draft appears to violate the US Constitution's prohibition against involuntary servitude.

Militant Atheist

A militant atheist is one who is hostile towards religion. They differ from moderate atheists because they have the desire to propagate atheism and also hold religion to be harmful. Militant atheism was an integral part of the French Revolution, Soviet Union, Cultural Revolution, and is expresses itself today in the ideas of the New Atheist authors.
Militant atheist: All religion does is cause violence! Blah! Blah! Blah!

Believer or Agnostic: You're a militant atheist! What about all of the soup kitchens, hospitals, charities, and orphanages run by beleivers? Are you forgetting about that? Also, did you not take into consideration all the violence and persecution that occurred under the militant atheistic policies under the Soviet Union or Cultural Revolution?

special-military-operation

Is an Orwellian inspired New Speak word, popularized by a notable dictator, to describe a scorched-earth war of unimaginable devastation that seeks to eliminate all people that don't swear fealty to the dictator. This specific type of war begins with military exercises and conscripts being told that they're going into a territory just for training purposes. Upon arriving in a foreign land, the military orders their troops to commit themselves to destroying apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, power plants, sewage and waste water treatment plants, indiscriminately killing civilians, as well as committing numerous war crimes. During public interviews, special-military-operation will be used in place of all of these horribly messy details in an attempt to sanitize a brutal and inhumane war that the dictator has instigated.
To spend several days watching news broadcasts on the main state channels, as well as surveying state-controlled newspapers, is to witness the extent of the Kremlin’s efforts to sanitize its war with the Orwellian term “special-military-operation” — and to make all news coverage align with that message.

French Military Victories

An ironic mistake by Google, which said that no results can be found for "French Military Victories" if you click the "I'm feeling lucky" button.

The irony is that France has actually won more battles and wars over the last six hundred years than any other country in Europe.
Stupid man: Did you know that there have never been any French Military Victories?

Average man: Did you know that you're an idiot?
