Zooned Out

Zooned out, Zooned, Zooning, Zoon, etc. are all forms of the term "zooned out"

A prolonged Nitrous Oxide high, where the user keeps inhaling more before the effects wear off, remaining in a goofy, meditative state for long periods of time.

The effects of nitrous wear off in 30 seconds or less, so users may keep one or more balloons on standby to "top off" the high when they start to come down. zooning can last anywhere from a few minutes to several hours depending on how much gas you have on hand, and how retarded you want to get.

While zooning, you're usually mixing with other drugs, laying or sitting down due to a loss of mobility, with a balloon in your mouth or in your hand, taking a small hit every 5-15 seconds to remain in a state of pure bliss.

the term is a play on words, coming from the term 'zoned out' but instead, you're "zooned out" because of how stupid and unresponsive you are off the gas.
Craig: "Bro, I just picked up a 640 and an 8th, we're going on a bender!"

James: "Fuck yeah brev, I'm gonna be zooned out tonight"
Craig: "hell yeah, I'll put some sewerslvt drum covers on and get this shit crackin"
James: "Nah bruh, I only listen to reggae off the nos"

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
