"Wungus" originates from the popular Risk of Rain 2 item "Weeping Fungus" and an attempt to shorten the name to be able to refer to the weeping fungus more quickly. Similar to Bungus, the alternative item to Wungus

Wongus 

A colossal vessel used by historical mythical Doge figure Siggy Le Doge, in his Empiric Conquests of inquisitions, territorial dispute of love, land, money, and power. The Wongus is the most powerful tool Siggy Le Doge had at his disposal, and was known to destroy all who gazed upon its god-like glory.

The *WONGUS* had immense Powah. As soon as the cities eyes were exposed, their eyes melted to the base of their skull.

Two people (usually always together or in a pair) who are considered to be idiotic or stupid. First used in Season 2, Episode 15 of Futurama, The Problem with Popplers.

Leela: "Oh great, Captain Moron has a plan. Why don't you tell it to Wingus and Dingus here!"

Captain Zapp Brannigan: "Wingus, Dingus, listen up! We're going to give the aliens the old switcheroo."
