Ununderstandable
1) Preposterously insane.
It can mean something that is insane beyond someone's wildest imagination, to the point that it becomes contrary to reason or common sense.
2) Something that is really hard to understand, which has to be repeated twice, or thrice before one fully comprehends it. (It can't be over 7 times, otherwise it would be: Unununderstandable.)
3) Something that is unacceptable, and intolerable (esp. by whole societies, or religions.)

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
