Telise is the kind of friend that you can rely on encase you are in a very bad situation. She does her very best to keep smiling even in the worst situation. She may seem dum on the outside but on the inside she is very smart and intelligent. Telise can be very crazy then out of nowhere she will be very calm. But don't mess with her because she has a fighting spirit and at times she can be a brat with out noticing it. She is rarely in drama so don't try to start any crap with her. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
