The Pumpkin Scrape

A wrestling move in which one wrestler begins by placing an open hand on an opponent's face and then pulls their hand away while also closing it (as though they were scraping the pulp out of a pumpkin), thereby scratching the opponent's face.
The Iron Sheik's signature move was the Camel Clutch, and Karth's signature move is the Pumpkin Scrape.

The Pumpkin Game

It is indescribable. But.. we will attempt to metaphor. You open up a can of creativity and see what spills out. This is a game that attempts to disprove Newton's Law by showing that in the realms of the imagination, the force to smash a fictional pumpkin is not always met by an equal and opposing force to save the aforementioned fictional pumpkin.

Scenario A:
Bob: I have drawn a Pumpkin
Smead: I will now squash your pumpkin by drawing a hammer hanging precariously above it.
Bob: (pondering...) Bun of a Snitch...
Smead: Your turn.
Bob: (Scribbling) Hold on. There is now a gigantic sponge on top of my pumpkin. My sponge absorbs the shock of your hammer.
Smead: So we do this back and forth until somebody slips up and overlooks one of the multiple threats lurking around the pumpkin, or else (on the opposing side) fails to threaten its safety?
Bob: Pretty much, yep.
Smead: Wait--who blocks with a sponge?
Bob: I do.
Smead: This game is weird.
(loud clapping)
The End Of Scenario A

(there is no Scenario B)
So let me get this straight... Spiderman, with his extra gigantic and somehow magical bean-bag frisbee managed to block ALL of my bullets I shot at your pumpkin?!?! Fine! Fine! I am drawing a nuke! Take THAT, web-shooter! Can't block that? Then The Pumpkin Game is over!

the pumpkin vine

Opposed to the grape vine, which is how common folk get information and is usually unreliable, the pumkin vine is how important people get information.
Nukka: "I heard you're getting promoted."
Babu: "Where'd you hear that?"
Nukka: "Just through the pumpkin vine."

the frost is on the pumpkin

Time for making love. After the hard work of the harvest is done, and to relieve the pent-up tension of not being able to mate because of sweltering August weather (you know - sleeping on the porch, all the windows open, etc...). Also copulation at this time traditionally brought pregnancy to term after spring planting but well before the next year's harvest.
When the weather's hot and sticky there's no time for dunkin' dickie; when the frost is on the punkin that's the time for dickie dunkin'! - anonymous pithy verse

Tim was over to Laurie's again last night - I guess the frost is on the pumpkin!

Sailing on the Pumpkin Tide

Refers to becoming drunk while alone in order to enhance one's creative process. Probably originated in the webcomic Problem Slueth.
Person 1: Can you come over tonight?
Person 2: No, I've had some ideas rolling around so tonight is going to be for sailing on the pumpkin tide.

Pursue the Pumpkin

v: to make an attempt to speak to, impress, and seduce any number of females
ex. 1: Jordy, tonight we are going out and we are pursuing the pumpkin

ex. 2: PJ, stop being a little bitch and pursue the pumpkin

Surf Dracula Syndrome

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.

For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
