Often worn with with a baggy, button down shirt buttoned all the way to the top, with the collar up. These pants defined "New Romantic" fashion.
Duran Duran, Thompon Twins, Depeche Mode, Platinum Blonde, Annie Lennox (Eurythmics) all wore these tapered pants.
