Storyboard

A graphic layout of a film 🎥 similar in rendering to a cartoon but with many more pages. Storyboards can contain attendant dialogue and sound effects such as all the 'zowies' 'oofs' and'pows'that would accompany a super heros movie.storyboards also give the production team a birdseye view of such elements as shot break down. Shot to shot ratios potential lighting angles and the like.

The. Storyboard artist came to our preproduction meeting today. His rendering of our ideas was amazing. A visual language all of its own enhancing the motifs and leit motifs of our film.

Scoreboard Syndrome

When a player in a videogame uses their superior score in a certain match as the authority and a way to absolve themselves from criticism from other players.

I told John that he needed to work on his AK-47 spray in a CS:GO match, but he shrugged it off and told me that he was doing better and therefore I can't speak about his AK-47 spray. Carl and I knew this was a classic case of the scoreboard syndrome.

Starboard Brained

Denotes individual with predominate right cerebral cortex housing group. Commonly known as "Right Brained."

Character traits exhibited include: guided by feelings, impetuous actions, driven by imagination and intrigued be philosophical sciences.

Starboard Brained individuals are opposite of Port Brained ("Left Brained")individuals. Port Brained individuals exhibit traits such as: guided by logic, practicality, reality based and drawn to mathematics and science.

a technique for ending an arguement about numbers. Obviously the scoreboard will truly reflect who is winning, regardless of what the other party is saying. Scoreboard suggests that all that is really relevant are the cold hard numbers. If you have scoreboard then the facts/numbers are on your side and you can end the arguement by just pointing out to the other person to look at the scoreboard.

People complain that the Yankees have bought their World Series titles. Who cares? 26 world championships baby, SCOREBOARD!
