Sports Entertainment

A term mainly known to be created by Vince McMahon, the owner of the WWF (World Wrestling Federation), was a marketing tactic in order to attract advertisers. The company would later change the name of the company, calling it the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) after losing a court case battle with the World Wildlife Fund, signifying what the product truly was. Some may say that it was a way for Vince to evade legitimate sport fees, dubbing his product as entertainment rather than an actual sport.
Vince McMahon: You know, I'm getting really tired of paying these sport fees across the country.
Bruce Prichard: I hear you, Vince.
Vince McMahon: It's not even an actual competitive sport, Bruce. We literally fix who the winner is for fuck sake.
Bruce Prichard: I mean, you make a point.
Vince McMahon: I got an idea, Bruce!
Bruce Prichard: What, what is it Vince?
Vince McMahon: Fuck all the paying sport fees shit. I know a way we can save money while making more of it.
Bruce Prichard: What do you have in mind, Vince?
Vince McMahon: Bruce, we are SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT.
Bruce Prichard: Sports entertainment?
Vince McMahon: Yes, sports entertainment.
Bruce Prichard: What in the blue hell is that?
Vince McMahon: My fucking money scheme, that's what it is.

sports entertainment

Another name for wrestling. WWE is the best known federation, but NWA/TNA and ROH are also well known. It technically isn't sport since it is predefined/fake.
WWE has gone shit recently...DX RULE.

Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment

Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment is a professional sports company with its headquarters in Toronto, Ontario. Valued at 1.75 billion USD, they have many assets including the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Marlies, the Toronto Raptors, the Toronto FC, and the Air Canada Centre.

Unfortunately (or fortunately for their competition), they are 80% owned by the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, who don't give 2 sh*ts about sports, except to collect their pensions and go to sleep every night laughing at how much the Leafs, the Raptors, and the FC fail year after year.
Justin Bieber is a disgrace to music as Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment is a disgrace to sports.

If Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment got $1 from every person in Toronto every time one of their teams made the playoffs, MLSE will have $0.

The amount that Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment cares about its teams can be compared to the amount of success Ron Wilson has as a coach, which is negative infinity.

the most electrifying man in sports entertainment

The Rock Dwayne Johnson according to the announcers and fans of WWE.

Michael Cole : " He's the most electrifying man in sports entertainment!"

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.

Blexas has been cited as possible in the upcoming decades, but only if Democrats continue to win the Hispanic vote in bigger margins.
Democrat 1: What is your prediction for the 2024 presidential election?
Democrat 2: Well uh, Blexas!
Democrat 1: You've been saying that since 2008 though.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
