soulseek

The best P2P on the planet if you're not a mainstream whore (see kazaa and limewire users). This program is more music oriented than anything, although you can download many types of files from it. It will most likely not be targeted by the RIAA because the majority of the users upload and download independent and otherwise obscure material.

I've been using it for over a year and have not yet encountered any spyware, adware, malware, trojans, or corrupted files. It's simply the most intuitive and practical p2p there is, not to mention the fact that it has the widest variety.

I'd like to see you Limewire mainstays downloading full albums at a time. ;)

Slsk user: I just downloaded 3GB worth of full albums of good music today, dude.

Limewire user: Holy shit! I only downloaded 100MB of random songs, mainstream tripe, unproperly tagged music, and corrupted files! WTF are you using?

Slsk user: Not Limewire, that's for sure. *gags with spork* I'm using Soulseek, because it makes pwnsauce out of every other P2P there is!
