sopranist 

A sopranist is a male singer who sings in the soprano vocal range; a countertenor who sings higher than the typical alto range.

There is a large body of music for male soprano written when it was common to use a castrato - a voice type which, for all intents and purposes, no longer exists. Sopranists are very rare, since most countertenors are altos.

Since Max can sing from a middle C to high A, he is considered a sopranist.

The Sopranos

An HBO TV series that focuses on Mafia chieftain Tony Soprano's blood and mob family. Amazing acting, great writing and stories. It's still my favorite TV show and always will. The show is notorious for it's abrasive use of profanity, shocking violence and nudity/sexuality. Certainly not for kids under the age of 17.

I love The Sopranos! Can't wait for season 6, which airs in early 2006. Quite a wait. I take it that the crew is on hiatus.

Me and my brothers watched 6 episodes of sopranos season 4 on dvd and after words started a fight at starbucks because we were a bunch of tony sopranos.

Carmela, the somewhat and rightly disgruntled spouse of Tony.
Meadow, the politically leftist but bright daughter.
A.J., the spitting image of Tony without all the redeeming qualities (an asshole).
