shredling

(n.) A child under the age of ten who can ski/snowboard better than most adults on the ski mountain. Most frequently found in Vermont or western-American ski resorts. Often resented by their elders for being far younger, yet far more skilled and, frankly, much cooler. Often named Connor, Trip or Dylan. Likely to grow into stoner ski bums with limited prospects, to the satisfaction of many.
"Dude, that shredling was maybe six and he did a backflip off that jump. What have YOU accomplished lately?"

"I bet that shredling has more friends than you."

"I just bought a dime bag off that shredling. He was pretty sketchy for a nine-year-old."

Shreking

You know this feeling late at night when you can't sleep, because of the crazy desire to eat ALL the chocolate left in your cupboard? This is shreking!

The tastiest meal, isn't It?
Lara has been shreking last night.
You want to lose weight? Maybe you should at least stop shreking ?!
Shreking is my hobby.

Again shreking last night? Oh God, you are hopeless.
Come on, Cara... Models are not shreking.

Shredding Face

shred·ding-face

verb.

A term that originated in northern Saskatchewan it indicates you were snowboarding so awesomely and at such a dominating caliber compared to everyone else on the mountain that you physically shredded the skin, eyes, and ultimately face, off of anyone and everyone who was pathetically attempting to keep up with you. The term is used as both an insult when you’ve showed someone how it’s done (ex. Just shredded your face off chump!) and as a taunt when the day of shred has either just started or you’re loading up your gear on the way to the hill. (Better enjoy the view while you still can boys because I'm about to shred your faces off!)
"I was shredding face all day, these chumps didn't have a chance on the slopes"

"Well boys enjoy your faces while you still have em because I'm gonna be shredding face all day!"

"Hey Ian what happened to your face... looks like it got shredded off!"

"Nate was really shredding face today" "Yeah no kidding, when you're riding with chumps named Jaz how can you not!"

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
