The act of wanting/having to poop while sitting on any other chair except the toilet. Sometimes in pain or agony depending on severity.

Comes from the terms shitting and splitting as in your pants will split at the butthole so you can let loose the mud man)

I had to poop but I was waiting for the bus to get home so I was sitting there schplitting.
