The word Schmurpht, usually is applied to an act (such as sitting around or smoking) where the person achieves nothing. A Schmurphter is one who partakes in the act of Schmurphting.

Schmuppet

Anyone who believes in Peter Schiff’s investment thesis, and thinks they will profit from it. Also, anyone who believe’s that Peter Schiff’s investment ideas (such as investing in Gold and Silver, or buying mining companies, or buying non-US companies) will make them “crash proof” in the event of an economic collapse or bear market.

The Schmuppets think that Gold will bottom out any day now! The Schmuppets got their heads handed to them in 2008 when Schiff’s picks underperformed the Dow itself!
