A Brazilian word used to express that a girl is lesbian or simply used to say that someone uses a big shoe.

Soube que Maria é sapatão (I knew it, Maria is lesbian )
Nossa seus pés são grandes, você deve usar um sapatão ( Wow you have big feet, you should use big shoes)

Brazilian word used to females homossexuals. Literally, it means "big shoe".

They called her "Sapatão" after the night she kissed her friend at a party. I just don't understand why they got so excited about it.
