Royals 

A crew formed two years ago in Denver Colorado. Composed primarily of Blacks and Hispanics, though there are occasionally White members, all races are accepted. Each member has somewhat of a rank, though the entire crew is more like a family, if needed the higher ranking members can command the lower ranking members. Unlike other street crews, you do not apply to be a member of the Royals, the Royals chose you; and they only choose what they consider to be the best. To be a Royal you have to have two things. The first is a specific skill set you specialize in that they can use to their advantage. The second is to be determined. The Royals will observe potential members for an undisclosed amount of time, usually watching for examples of bravery, or other unspecified characteristics that deem the potential member worthy in their eyes.

Because of the selection process, the Royals is composed of people from a very diverse background including: One time members of other street crews, drug dealers, smugglers, fighters, DJ's, performing artists, and even computer hackers. The Royals are NOT a gang, and are not focused on getting their name on the streets. They don't tag buildings, they don't dress according to a specific color.

The Royals remain primarily underground, and any feuds with local street gangs is unknown. The actual operations of the Royals are also unknown, bringing question to the purposes of having such a diverse and exclusive membership.

Members of the Denver Royals are often secretive, you may know a member. They aren't looking for fame, and don't think highly of street gangs.

Swedish teen drama series with the plot revolving around the Prince of Sweden, Wilhelm, his budding romance and the drama that comes with it. One of the best series Netflix has ever made by far.

Kansas City Royals

A Major League Baseball team that was started by Ewing Kaufmann in 1973 in Kansas City, Missouri, which had been the home of the legendary Negro League champions, the KC Monarchs (1920 - 1962) - Jackie Robinson, Satchel Paige, Buck O'Neil, etc.

At first, the Royals lived up to the level of excellence set by the Monarchs. From 1973-1993, they won ten American League West penants, lost one World Series to the Philadelphia Phillies in 1980 and came back five years later to beat the St. Louis Cardinals in the I-70 Series. In 1980, third baseman George Brett had over a .400 batting average.

Other Royals megastars in the first two decades were:
1) Willie Wilson
2) Bret Saberhagen
3) Frank White
4) Al Hrabosky, the Mad Hungarian
5) Jorge Orta
6) Dane Iorg
7) Bo Jackson

After 1993, the Royals went into a slump and became one of the worst teams in MLB. This has been acutely painful to watch, if you were a fan of Royals Baseball in the 1970s and 1980s.

The decline of the once great Kansas City Royals has been like watching a Shakespearean tragedy. It's sad to see a team that was once at the top of the MLB fall to the bottom.

The Kansas City Royals consistently beat the Yankees in the '70s and '80s even with half their budget. This gave hope to kids across the country that baseball was fair and honest. Anyone with talent could rise to the top. Today that hope is lost.

Denver Royals 

A Denver based gang started on the East side of Colfax. Eventually became a crip affiliate after violent clashes in the 2010's. The "Royals," "ESR" (East Side Royals), or "Royal 7" for the seven original founding members are extremely violent. The gang has primarily black members, although one of the original seven was white.
