rightwash

Taken from the term whitewash. Meaning to take something; such as a watered down version of a popular left wing political policy; and twist it around into capitalist propaganda. Typically used to indoctrinate less intelligent voters into thinking conservatives actually run a country in anyone's interests but their own.
"The National Party's half measures are plunging New Zealand into poverty. It is a complete rightwash."
