The word was created by YouTuber "RedHotSonic" on his secondary channel "JetPackTails" while live streaming the Sonic ROM Hack "Sonic ERaZor" where, while trying to read "Sonic decided to make one quick final run through the hills", he accidentally said "Sonic decided to make one quinal run through the hills"

"That was a quinal boss! I beat it in just a few seconds!"
