i am pretending to type something

when you are supposed to be doing work at school but you are doing something else on your computer and your teacher walks by so you write "I am pretending to type something" so it looks like you're busy working.
-hey, what were you typing in class yesterday?
-i was typing "i am pretending to type something".
Time of day that defines the ambiguous time between afternoon and evening.
'What are you doing tomorrow prevening?'
'Tomorrow is Saturday so I will be spending the prevening presorting and presoaking."

Preevning

A part of day time between afternoon and evening. Made up by Sheldon Cooper in Big Bang Theory.
Howard: Your date is tomorrow afternoon 4:30.
Sheldon Cooper: That's not afternoon. That's preevning

What?

It's a time of day I invented. It better defines
the ambiguous period between afternoon and evening:
preevning.

Pretzeling

Like Spooning only more so. Maximum body to body contact. Some people do not like this, because they lose circulation and have various body parts go numb, but a small, dedicated, sensual sub-section of people are naturally drawn to this hyper-contact activity. Can occur before, or after, or independent of sex.
This new girl I am seeing is really into pretzeling. Full body contact and sweating all night long...

Preening

Mostly associated with females however also seen in males, preening is the act of trying to make oneself more attractive to a potential mate or person of the opposite sex.

A common preening technique is straightening of clothing or flicking of ones hair.
More showy forms of preening would include metaphorically wiping dust off ones shoulders showing they are smooth commonly seen in some men trying to impress.
Dianne saw an attractive guy sitting on the park bench

Guy looks up at her
Dianne instant ly reacted by preening herself, flicking her hair before walking past the guy

pretexting

When one pretends to write a text message to someone, in hopes of avoiding unwanted and/or awkward situations.

NOTE: Although 'pretexting' is a portmanteau of 'pretending' and 'texting', the actual word 'pretext' shares a similar concept, as it is defined as "an effort or strategy intended to conceal something."
Person 1: Dude, every time I was leading on to ask Jill out, she would get a text from one of her friends. Isn't that weird?
Person 2: Bud, you do realize...
Person 1: *sigh.* She was pretexting, wasn't she.
Person 2: Sorry man. Hey, what say we go to Taco Bell?
Person 1: FUCK YEAH TACO BELL
