My sister Mary is a real phonie. No matter what you need to know, she can find it in seconds using her iPhone.

Phonie

A phone is someone that’s always on the phone rather than having human interactions. They will sit in a group and text each other instead of just talking. They’ll raise there head and look at someone right after they received a text and laugh then start texting back.

I seen Kyle at the party but he sat on the couch being a phonie all night.

cell-phonie

Basically a person that you see walking down the street that feels the need carry on a fake conversation on their cell phone due to the fact that they are by themselves and want people to think that they are on some important mission or need to be somewhere.

Me and Rebecca were heading to the bar last week and saw Jessica walking down the street by herself, talking on her cell phone. What a cell-phonie she is.
