Philpoligy is not so much of a religion but a relisation of reality and a way of life. A Philplogist is not trained nor cultured, but born a linguist.

Symptoms include an uncanny and sometimes inhumanly quick response to any quick witted humor that may be directed at a particular philposaur and the comeback results in almost all cases, a response of which, it is impossible to react to and usually results in the demise of the instigator. British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
