Patriotasm

noun. The state of believing that the only way to support the troops is to put them in harm's way. ALSO The state of believing in one's leader(s) above the well-being of one's nation.

Never having served in the military, it was patriotastic of the senator to advocate war.

OR

To hell with what the world thinks! Patriotasm requires us to spread democracy where it is not wanted.

Patriotreason

1) An act committed when someone loves political ranting but does not actually know anything

2) To commit an act that is so mindlessly stupid it damages an entire nation.

2)"We need to defeat Canada in the arms race!"
