paraquat pot

In the 1960s, the Government sponsored a program called "Paraquat Pot" in which they sprayed the very harmful herbicide paraquat on marijuana fields in South America, which were distributed mostly to Americans. It was called Paraquat Pot.

Yeah, we used to smoke that paraquat pot back in the 60s. They just don't make it like they used to.

Urban legend. Smoking marijuana sprayed with paraquat has no ill effects. The myth was propagated by anti-drug activists to deter the smoking of pot in general.
