(pronounced na-rit)
A Ngarat is a mythological creature, with a seagull body and the head of a young boy. It's teeth are similar to those of a human, but they are almost twice as long.

Ngarats, however, are not a naturally occurring species, and are more accurately classified as a disease or mutation. They developed when the DNA of a prepubescent male homosapien with a physical handicap is amalgamated with the DNA of a matured gull. The transformation then begins, first with the homosapien's handicap spreads on to the seabird, then the hybrids digestive system will develop an insatiable craving for capsicum. Then, the physical transformation takes place
Me (casually): that seagulls face looks strikingly similar to a special needs boy I knew in second grade.
Derek (intellectually): Why, it must be a Ngarat!
